Housing Tipi Poles at Castle Mountain

On Saturday May 6, housing and public works staff were at Castle Mountain to strip tipi poles as we continue to prepare the housing tipi. We are very excited to bring Housing's first tipi to the Siksika Fair on June 30. This was an amazing team-building experience, and we look forward to using it in many future public engagement events to help connect Nation members to the Housing team and our services. Our next steps are to finish making the pegs, and painting of the canvas. Huge thanks to Wendell and his team from public works who helped finish and transport the poles back to Siksika.
